Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions are intended to regulate the relationship between the public limited company MICAMPUS LIVING PORTUGAL, UNIPESSOAL LDA, with registered offices at Avenida 1º de Maio, 20-A, 2500-081 Caldas da Rainha, registered at the Commercial Registry Office under the single registration and legal person number 517805758, with share capital of fifty thousand euros (hereinafter, “micampus residencias”) and all users of its website (hereinafter, the “Users”).

Thank you for visiting the micampus residencias website. Please read the Terms and Conditions presented on this page carefully, bearing in mind that, by accessing all the functionalities of the website, we assume that you agree with their content in full.

Object and scope

micampus residencias carries out economic activity aimed at offering accommodation and other related services (hereinafter, the “Services”) at the residence located at Fonte do Lameiro, Covilhã (hereinafter, the “Residence”).

The Terms and Conditions apply to:

Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, under the terms of Clauses 9 and 10, respectively.

Content information

The reproduction, transfer, distribution or storage of the contents of the website without the prior written authorisation granted by micampus residencias is expressly prohibited.

micampus residencias reserves the right to modify the information and commercial offer presented on the Services, prices and commercial conditions at any time.

The images presented on the website are merely illustrative and may change during the course of the project until the Residence is fully implemented. As such, micampus residencias recommends that the User consult the detailed description of the Services in order to obtain complete information about their conditions and characteristics.

All details and information about the Services are published on the micampus residencias website and, if authorised, by telephone or e-mail sent to the User.

Contracting Procedure

To contract the Services offered by micampus residencias, the User must carry out the following procedure:

  • In the central part of the micampus residencias website select “Book now”.
  • Choose the type of Services you wish to contract.
  • Click on “Book now” in the chosen option.
  • Then choose the period (henceforth, the “Service Period”) and, if applicable, the additional services you wish to contract.
  • Click on “Fill in your information”.
  • Fill in the information requested, namely: full name; telephone number; e-mail address; gender; country; VAT number.
  • Choose the payment method, the options for which are detailed in Clause 5 of these Terms and Conditions. In this procedure, the User needs to pay the Booking Amount (corresponding to a Monthly Amount) and the Deposit, which is also a Monthly Amount, as well as the additional services corresponding to one month, if applicable.
  • Confirm that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
  • If you wish, agree to be sent institutional marketing after choosing the advertising options.
  • Click on “Configure payment”.
  • Fill in the payment details, or if you are directed to a payment gateway, fill in or note down the payment details.
  • Click on “Process Order”.
  • You’re done! The booking process has been successfully completed!

The contracting of the chosen Services is confirmed after micampus residencias sends the e-mail with the Contract for the Provision of Services in Residence (hereinafter, the “Contract”), which will take place within 2 (two) working days of carrying out the procedure described in the previous paragraph.

If the Contract is not received within the aforementioned period, the User must contact micampus residencias by e-mail to, with the subject “Contract Not Received”.

Payment Methods

micampus residencias offers the User the following payment methods via Easypay – Instituição de Pagamento, Lda:

  • ATM reference.
  • Direct debit.
  • Mb Way.
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro)

Payment Methods Payment will be made on a recurring basis until the termination of the contracted Services, regardless of the payment method chosen.

Withdrawal by the User

Under the terms and for the purposes of the two paragraphs below, the Resident may terminate the Contract, and notice of termination must be given under the terms of Clause 12.

The Resident has the right to terminate the Contract within 14 (fourteen) days of its conclusion (hereinafter, the “Right of Free Termination”) without incurring any costs, if the exercise of this right occurs before the Period of Provision of the Services. If the Resident exercises the Right of Free Termination during the Period of Provision of the Services, the Resident shall pay the Monthly Amount proportional to the Services contracted and effectively provided up to the time of communication of the termination of the Contract.

If the Resident gives notice of cancellation of the Contract on or after the 15th (fifteenth) day of its conclusion and:

  • up to 61 days before the start of the Service Period, micampus residencias will return the Reservation Amount and the Security Deposit in full to the Resident.
  • between 60 and 31 days before the start of the Service Period, micampus residencias will return the Deposit to the Resident in full and retain 50 per cent of the Reservation Amount.
  • in the 30 days prior to the start of the Service Period, micampus residencias will return the Deposit in full to the Resident and retain the Reservation Amount.

Under any other conditions that do not fall under the above paragraphs, the Resident is obliged to pay in full for the Period of Services.

Refunds under this Clause shall be made by transfer to the IBAN indicated by the Resident on the Booking Form within 14 (fourteen) days of the communication mentioned above, minus transfer costs and other charges.


All the Services made available through the website comply with Portuguese legislation.

micampus residencias is not liable for any damages arising from any interference, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily prevent Users from accessing or browsing.

micampus residencias is not responsible for situations of unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure, resulting from unforeseen events or natural forces beyond human control that cannot be avoided or situations that make it impossible to fulfil the service, namely, but not limited to, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, wars, epidemics or pandemics, among others. micampus residencias will endeavour to inform its Users as soon as it becomes aware of the circumstances and foreseeable consequences of this impossibility.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The User and micampus residencias accept that any issue arising from the use of this website will be governed by Portuguese law, electing the jurisdiction of the district of Lisbon, Portugal, expressly waiving any other.

Personal Data

micampus residencias complies with current data protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and other applicable legislation. Any content or personal data collected by the Micampus residencias website is subject to the Privacy Policy which can be consulted on this website:

Micampus residencias applies the appropriate and necessary technical security measures to ensure the security of information. However, the User is aware that the use of the website may not be 100% secure, so there is a possibility that the information sent and received may be intercepted by unauthorised parties, and micampus residencias cannot be held responsible for this.

It is the User’s sole responsibility to notify micampus residencias of any changes to their personal data by email, as stipulated in Clause 12.

micampus residencias shall not be held liable for the loss of any information on the Services resulting from outdated or inaccurate personal data provided by the User.

The communications to be made within the scope of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to have been made, (i) in the case of registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, on the date of signature of the acknowledgement of receipt, and (ii) in the case of electronic mail with read receipt, on the date of the read receipt.

For the purposes of the previous paragraph, if no delivery receipt is received, the communication/notification shall be deemed to have taken place on the 2nd day following the sending of the e-mail.

Industrial Property Rights

The distinctive signs on this website that enjoy protection under Industrial Property Law (including, but not limited to, trademarks and logos) are the property of micampus residencias or it is the holder of the respective operating licence.

Internal Regulations

Users who take up residence in the Residence are automatically bound by the Internal Regulations from the moment they receive the Contract for the Provision of Services in the Residence, and are subject to all the conditions imposed therein.

If the User does not have access to the Internal Regulations, they should request them by e-mailing with the subject “Internal Regulations”.
